Born in Taipei, Yi-Hsum (Nathalie) Chang earned her Master’s degree in Film and Visual Studies from Paris University No.3. Now a well-known advocate of queer writing. She is winner of many literary awards in Taiwan, and her works include: I’am Leaving, Not in Love for Long: Recollections of Nantes and Paris, Herstory of Sex, and 100 Objects of Emotion.

Born in 1983, Chen holds a Masters degree in Taiwanese Literature at National Taiwan University. He is recognized by local media as one of the most promising novelists under 40 in Taiwan. In his novels The Rubber Chicken Club, and in his essay collection Mr. Adult, he subverts mainstream values by turning to subcultures. As a gay man who spent his teen years in the 1990s, he is known for his sarcastic but profoundly sad writing style.

Animo has a degree in Visual Communication Design from Da-Yeh University in Taiwan and an MA from the Fine Arts Department, Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, Czech Republic. His first-ever exclusive collection of comics The Short Elegy is the winner of the 2020 BolognaRagazzi Award for Comics – Young Adult. The jury said: “Chen’s wordless, sequential images are the visual equivalent of poems.” Moreover, his latest work Love Letter, a Taiwanese-language illustrated poem, won him another BolognaRagazzi Award – the Special Mention in the 2021 Special Category – Poetry.
