Taiwan’s first novel to explore the culture of “shipping” and celebrity fandom, particularly in association with Thai BL dramas. It delves into why people idolize strangers—whether actors, singers, YouTubers, or politicians—turning them into figures of worship. The novel examines how adoration shapes identities and the many different ways through which people express infatuation.
