The Golden Comic Awards (GCAs) are a national award for comics in Taiwan. Since their launch in 2010, they have witnessed the glorious contributions of countless comic creators and contributors in the industry. Moreover, the Ministry of Culture has encouraged the greater cross-media application of Taiwan’s original comic works by holding a series of related events under the brand “GCA” since 2017. The full name of the brand “GCA” is the Golden Comic Awards & Connection+, which covers the “Golden Comic Awards Ceremony” and “GCA Connection+”. It is held in Taiwan every autumn, attracting comic artists, professionals and people from all over Asia and the world to join. In 2024, as GCA enters its 15th year, Taiwanese comics will continue to present a splendid and colorful future.
